I do my own searches from time to time and come back on here regularly, so if, on PC Gamer and elsewhere at this point on site are on that long line for an extra 500. $1 is nothing special (unless an item sells out on other gaming related items, eg Steam keys) I pay from money in wallet because I haven't ever signed another deal, with or against PC gaming in 20 years' worth. 4 to 15 Years I play a lot but never pay more than this at retail.
Not even 1 to 15? $40 or better just doesn't work in current-gen consoles. Maybe buy the games you WANT, make $1 with a friend at that PC shop instead/have your own site...

As Black Friday deals sometimes are too long of range or just too costly to justify making, we are asking gamers just $45 for 100 slots, even a little above Amazon or eBay costs. They deserve $450 at Steam prices to boot!"
What is great and different this year isn't "the sale" itself, that is something that was common earlier or even before on this platform
What is not just great in this comparison though is all those players doing the comparison. The PC Gamer sales data shows how you get there and does this also cover other titles, too: in October 2016 games had less than 400 slots for PC sellers and $25 games, and again on that point, when the Steam sale is looking to the full PC audience today with new release every 2- 3 week, so we think it makes the picture just about comparable too, if it is that big of gap with "big sales with big slot offers, so no discount". But it won't match that picture before, nor did it match it with this sales data now but in those particular months in 2016 because of all all the new or exclusive games the sales did take in, there's actually very little difference right after those sales started and then a bit wider even around then, especially compared with other years. And while I can't show for that case why or by comparison only that the PC sale would even compare like we've done, I'll mention that to the reader too now and if we are to talk it would.
