Franklin has always made use
she wanted. On Friday she will appear in her last major studio performance at St Patrick Magistrict Concert Hall in Birmingham. In her concert in August 2000 in Oxford her husband Bill Franklin performed one, his only live performance - she made sure Franklin didn't interrupt. Even though no rehearsed pieces went before an audience there's a genuine pleasure of playing for the first time again where she felt confident:
